Amara’s Adventures Wrap Up: A Final Stop at The Homeless Coalition
As September comes to a close, so does our 3rd Annual Literacy Month Campaign — and what a journey it’s been!
Our final stop brought Amara’s Adventures to The Homeless Coalition, where Nola donated our signature literacy bundle and shared stories that reminded everyone in the room that books are more than pages — they’re pathways to hope, learning, and imagination.
This visit was especially meaningful. Seeing the smiles, hearing the laughter, and watching children and families connect through storytime was the perfect way to end this year’s literacy tour.
From Kids Safe Zone to St. Augustine Youth Services, Touch of Funk Market, Betty Griffin Center, and finally The Homeless Coalition, each stop carried the same message: when we share stories, we build community.
As we officially close out Literacy Month, we want to thank every supporter, partner, and family who joined us along the way. Your belief in our mission helps us keep spreading the joy of reading — one book, one child, and one community at a time.
